Meet the Teacher Linky

Things have been quite crazy around here lately, so I'm excited to sit down at my computer and tell you a little about myself! Plus I get to learn a lot about some of my favorite teacher bloggers, so it's a win win in my book!
Hey ya'll! My name is Stephanie. I'm 26 years old and married to my best friend. I wear many hats... wife, fur mommy to 2 fur babies, teacher, TpTer, salt lifer, shark and dinosaur lover, and clip art addict. This is my 5th year teaching and my first year as a Life Skills Teacher. I've taught in 3 other states, making Texas my 4th state. I'm super excited to be back in the classroom and have my own class of kiddos again!
My husband, Jeff, is my favorite person in the world and my best friend. He is super supportive and makes me a better person. We've been married for 3 years. Our nickname for each other is Baby Duck. Love him to pieces!
Those are our two spoiled fur babies, our current prides of joy. We adopted both babies from the Amish! Jaxon is a 2 year old chocolate lab who is a mommy's boy for cuddling and kisses, but a daddy's boy for everything else. Zoie is a 4 year old miniature dachshund who is mommy's girl through and through. She's our little stinky girl.
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...
My husband. My niece, Reese. Family. My home slice Ashley. The beach. BMW. Clip art and fonts. Sharks. Dinosaurs. Food. Sweatpants. Antique Shops. Fiestaware. Sleeping and food again.

IF YOU WEREN'T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?
A marine biologist, even though I'm afraid of deep water. The ocean fascinates me and I would love to learn more about it, especially when it comes to protecting and conserving sharks.

THREE LITTLE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE YOU.
Honest. Realistic. Driven.

FINISH THE SENTENCE: "_______________, SAID NO TEACHER EVER!"
That professional development session on the new state test was riveting! I can't wait to teach now!

Q: IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AND YOU CAN INVITE ANYONE {DEAD OR ALIVE} TO THE PARTY. WHO ARE YOU INVITING?
Definitely Jennifer Lawrence and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Don't forget The Little Mermaid!

IF SOMEONE WROTE A BOOK ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD BE THE TITLE?
A Shark's Life: The story of a woman who gave up her teaching career to become a marine biologist to help save the last sharks on Earth.

YOU GET TO PICK ONE SUPERPOWER, WHAT IS IT?
Teaching IS my superpower! But if I had to choose another, it would be time traveling. Does that count?

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR SAYING?
"You can't go through life thinking that everyone you meet will one day let you down." - Angels in the Outfield

IF YOU HAD ONE SONG TO SING ON AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Oh. My. Goodness. I would sing and dance my heart out to Kenny Loggins' Footloose. That song is my jam!

ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR A NIGHT OWL?
Morning person all the way. I can talk your ear off at 6am like no one else (unless you count my Dad).

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU'VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP?
To be honest, my favorite changes every so often. I put my heart and soul (and numerous hours) into my products, so I'm proud of each one. If I absolutely have to pick just one, it would be my IEP Binder.

SHARE SOMETHING WE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU.
My husband and I's favorite place in the world is Pensacola Beach, FL. It's where we got married and where we hope to raise our future children. Our goal has always been to live on the Gulf Coast or Florida panhandle. Even though we live on the gulf coast of Texas and absolutely love it here, I think the settling point is a beach house in Florida. Life just always seems so much easier when you're "knee deep in the water somewhere..."

  5. I majored in Finance and Accountancy. Mine was a great institution with a great faculty like Aloke Ghosh and provides a great education. Its location was even better!
